Introduction
The release notes provide brief and high-level descriptions of the new features of HaloCORE. Before installing HaloCORE, it is recommended to read the release notes to understand any current limitations or bugs that may apply to this version of the software.
Product Description
Information that resides inside SAP is downloaded regularly by users to generate reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and other documents. Sensitive data about your company's financials, products, partners, and clients become vulnerable and exposed.
HaloCORE for NetWeaver Add-On intercepts each data download from SAP, classifies the information, applies classification labels and strong encryption while enforcing access rights and usage policies. It uses the HaloENGINE Service, combined with a Microsoft technology called Microsoft Purview Information Protection (MPIP), to apply protection to the downloaded data. All download activity is aggregated into a fully customizable audit log, which can be integrated into the company's existing analytics framework and extracted to powerful tools such as SAP Business Intelligence and Analytics solutions.

HaloCORE for NetWeaver Add-On
Creating a logical port is not possible using via HTTP Access option in S/4HANA 1809. An error message occurs as "Error in WSDL access: An exception was raised in the communication framework". HCSNSD-1699
Upload decryption via SAP GUI for HTML is not supported. HCSNSD-1926
More than one protected file is getting downloaded and multiple log entries are saved in the download log when using the “Export as Text” option to download the contents of a spool request which is having large content. HCSNSD-1969
The standard "Extend" function will now behave similarly to the "Generate" function. During a file download, when the Extend button is pressed, it will not try to append to the previously downloaded file, rather it will treat it as a new download (similar to Generate button). HCSNSD-1907
