Apply Enhancements - Web Dynpro Application

This section illustrates how to apply code enhancement for the Web Dynpro Application (WDA) for HaloCORE Monitor and Protect. Depending on your requirement, you can apply WDA "with dialog" or WDA "without dialog" enhancement. 

1. WDA "with dialog": Enables HaloCORE processing for Web Dynpro ABAP, including classification dialog; not officially supported for NetWeaver versions 7.00 and 7.01.

2. WDA "without dialog": Enables HaloCORE processing for Web Dynpro ABAP, but without classification dialog.

3. Supported versions:

   1. NetWeaver 7.02, 7.31, 7.40, 7.50

   2. S/4HANA 1511 to 2023, S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition till release 2023.

General differences for creation of enhancements 

In pre-7.02 releases, the menu entries and toolbar buttons for creating enhancements are slightly different. The illustrations in this chapter are only indicative and may look different depending on the NetWeaver release you have.
